Fun Run October 7th with neon shoesJRE Annual Fun Run

Friday, October 7, 2022   (Rain Date Friday, October 14, 2022)

We are very excited to be doing our Fun Run again this year! Staff and students are encouraged to dress in their favorite peace, love and groovy kindness 1970’s attire. The purpose of the Fun Run is to raise funds for JRE, build school spirit and increase school pride during a fun whole-school event that promotes fitness. 100% of the money raised will stay at Jackman Road Elementary.

Please note that this is our only fundraiser this year. All pledges are due the day of the Fun Run, October 7th. ALL students will participate in the Fun Run whether they have donated or not.

Parents and family members are encouraged to come and walk with their child. Please note that siblings in other grade levels will not be able to walk with another grade level as learning is occurring when students are not walking.

        Y5/K: 11:15-11:45
        1st Grade: 10:00-10:30
        2nd Grade: 9:15-9:45
        3rd Grade: 1:15-1:45
        4th Grade: 12:15-12:45
        5th Grade: 1:45-2:15

Parents/guests need to park in the North parking lot only and then sign in at the table located near the shed on the parking lot. You will not be able to come into the building to get your child; your child’s teacher will bring them out to the track when it is their time. Also, please do not bring any pets due to allergies and distractions to our students.

Prizes will be awarded as follows based on the amount of pledges on the day of the Fun Run:

  • Highest Homeroom: Extra recess and possession of the classroom trophy which travels year to year.
  • Highest Grade Level: Movie afternoon in their classrooms.
  • Highest Individual in Each Grade: Lunch with Mrs. Farnan in her office.

(Please note each child’s money stands alone, you cannot combine with other family members to get the highest amount.)

If you have questions, you can email or call Kim Ortiz at 734-850-6603.
