GRADUATION ANNOUNCEMENT ORDERS
Announcements and orders placed with Herff-Jones will be delivered in March and all communication will come from Herff-Jones. Additional announcements will be available at that time.
SENIOR PROM
Night at the Bayou (Princess and the Frog themed)
Toledo Zoo’s Malawi Event Center
Saturday, May 4th, 2024
7:30-10:30 p.m.
Appetizers will be served from 8:00 - 9:00 p.m.
Tickets will be sold April 1 - April 12 2023
Prom Tickets will on sale during all lunches from April 1st until April 12th. Tickets are $50 for a single and $90 for a couple. Tickets are also available in Mrs. LeStrange's room (A-26) and Ms. McMahon's room (A-35). Seniors may purchase two tickets, one for themselves and one for their guest. Students must have a current Bedford student ID to purchase prom tickets and to enter prom. Prom visitors must complete a dance visitor application and submit it to the main office by 2:25 p.m. three days prior to prom. If you have questions regarding prom, please contact the Senior Class Advisors Mrs. LeStrange (734) 850-6328 or Mrs. McMahon (734) 850-6142.
NEED PROM WEAR?
Are you in need of something to wear to prom? Stop by and see Mrs. Maynard in D5 during 4th and 5th hours. There are many beautiful dresses available for free; many of them are brand new with tags still on them, as well as a couple suits! See Mrs. Maynard for questions.
SENIOR IMPACT DAY
Wednesday, April 10
Seniors will participate in Impact Day. Permission slips were passed out in homerooms and are available in the main office. We want our seniors to spend the day actively supporting their post secondary plan. Seniors should visit a college, trades, military recruiter, etc. This form is needed for attendance purposes and is due on March 22nd.
VIRTUAL LEARNING DAY
Thursday, April 11th
Students need to complete the virtual learning assignments that day by 2:30 pm.
SENIOR EXAMS
Tuesday, May 14: 6th and 7th Hour Exams - Dismissed at 2:30 P.M.
Wednesday, May 15: 3rd and 4th/5th Hour Exams - Dismissed at 12:30 P.M.
Thursday, May 16: 1st and 2nd Hour Exams/Chromebook Turn In - Dismissed after Chromebooks turned in at 9:30 A.M.
There will be no bus service for seniors after exams on Wednesday or Thursday. Students may leave after exam completion on Wednesday or after Chromebook turn in and Senior Relays on Thursday or they may wait in the cafeteria for the regular end of the day bus service.
SENIOR RELAYS

Senior Relays will take place following Chromebook turn in on Thursday, May 17.
SENIOR SEND OFF 2024
Saturday, May 18th
Senior Send Off is a fun senior only gathering planned by senior parents. With input from students, Senior Send Off has been reshaped. This is free to all seniors and is a final hurrah here at the high school. Food and a lot of entertainment will be provided including a mechanical bull, hypnotist, DJ and much more. This event will take place on Saturday, May 18th. Students will report to the high school between 7:30 and 8:30 P.M. Students will be expected to stay until 1 A.M.

SENIOR HONORS NIGHT

Bedford High School Gym
This is not a ticketed event. Students are invited to attend if they are graduating with honors, have been awarded a university or local scholarship and have informed the school and if they are getting a departmental award.
POST SECONDARY PLANNING SCHOOLOGY COURSE

GRADUATION REHEARSAL & CAP AND GOWN DISTRIBUTION
Thursday, May 30, at 8:00 am
Students will line up in the Auxiliary Gym. ATTENDANCE IS MANDATORY. All cap and gown questions/problems are handled with Herff Jones; for questions, please call 734-725-5743.
GRADUATION CORDS
Students will wear their cap and gown and all graduation cords to Senior Honors and Graduation. Several student groups (DECA, BPA, etc) sell graduation cords. Students will purchase these through their respective groups. These groups will be making announcements regarding these cords. Students that graduate with honors (3.0 GPA and above) will be given an honor cord for the purpose of the two ceremonies. Additionally, students in NHS and Student Council also will be given their respective cords. Students wishing to purchase and keep his/her honor cord or Senate/NHS cord may do so by seeing Mrs. Fields prior to June 1st. Honors cords are $5. Students not purchasing their honor cord(s) will return the honor cord(s) after graduation when picking up the actual diploma.
Students pick up the actual diploma after the graduation ceremony and will turn in their graduation cord(s). Please be sure to take pictures with graduation cords prior to the ceremony if you are not purchasing the cords.
GRADUATION
University of Toledo Savage Arena
Sunday, June 2, 2024
2:00 pm.
Doors open at 1:00 pm. Graduates must be in the University of Toledo’s Savage Arena by 1:00 pm.
PARKING
Students should park in Area 5 and Area 10 and enter the Fetterman Training Center.
The University of Toledo has outsourced all parking. We have purchased parking for each graduate to have two cars at graduation. Each graduate will receive two parking passes that must be displayed in the car window. Parking passes will be distributed following Graduation Rehearsal along with caps and gowns. Parking passes for graduation are only valid the day of graduation and only for parking lots marked Area 3, Area 4, Area 5, Area 6 (Construction scheduled and may be closed), and Area 10. Other guests parking on campus must park in other areas and use the kiosks on campus to pay for parking. The current daily fee is $5.45 for additional parking. The University of Toledo and Bedford Public Schools
have no control over parking, parking tickets, etc.

GRADUATION PICTURES
Lifetouch will be taking a photo of every graduate as he/she receives a diploma from a member of the School Board. Lifetouch uses PhotoDay to manage and help parents order graduation day pictures. Closer to the date of graduation, we will share information on how to use PhotoDay.
PLEASE NOTE: All fines must be resolved before participation in any Senior event. This includes graduation.
