ACCOUNTING – Levels 1, 2, and 3
This course introduces students to the concepts in the accounting cycle. It is a career-oriented class in manual and automated accounting. Computers will be used to promote problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills. Co-op work-related experience at the job site is available and encouraged for qualified students in Grade 12. Membership in the Business Professionals of America Club is encouraged.

Areas emphasized include the following: Sole Proprietorships, Balance Sheets, Journals, Worksheets, Income Statements, Partnerships, Ledgers, and Double-entry Accounting sheets.

Areas emphasized include the following: Special Journals, Corporate Accounting, Payroll Systems, Depreciation, Voucher Systems, Accrued Revenue and Expenses.
