I created my very first web site my Junior year in high school. It was created in Web Page Design 1, it was a 13 week class. I had to choose a cartoon and I choose Scooby-Doo because that is my favorite cartoon. This web site was created in notepad using only HTML coding. It took me about three weeks to create the web pages. I researched information about all the characters and the history of how Scooby Doo became created. I am very proud of this web page because I worked so hard on it.

This was my second web site, it was also created in Web Page Design 1. For my final project I had to choose a state and design an informational web site about the state. I choose Colorado because I went there for the first time in the summer and I thought I was a beautiful state.For this web site I created the nameplate and buttons from scratch using Macromedia Fireworks. I didn't use notepad for this web page, I used Macromedia Dreamweaver. I still had to use some of my HTML coding to tweak the pages. This web page took me about three weeks to create it.

In my Junior year of high school I took Web Page Design 1 and Web Page Design 2. Each class was 13 weeks long, when I wasn't making a web site for a project I worked in the Dreamweaver MX 2004 book. In Web Page 1 I did chapters 1 -3, in Web Page 2 I worked on chapters 4- 7. We learned how to do frames, links, forms, tables, and much more in class but to make sure we understood what we were doing our teacher used the book as an aid. We were assigned a chapter then had anywhere from four days to up to a week to complete the chapters.
One of my final projects for Web Page Design 2 was to create a web site for a class for our high school. I used Macromedia Fireworks and Macromedia Dreamweaver. It took me about four weeks to get all the class information I needed, make the nameplates and buttons.
