In my Junior year of high school I wrote a poem for my english class, it was entered in a school writing contest, the name of my poem was Recipe to help others. I love cooking so I thought I would but the two different elements together. Recipe to help others

My sophomore year I took a class called Interior Decorating 1 and my junior year I took Interior Decorating 2. In the class we had portfolios where we did our work. We learned a lot of things such as, different color schemes, mixing colors, different types of fabrics and carpets, how to balance a room and how to do lighting plans. Check out my Interior Decorating Power Point! One of my projects for Interior Decorating 1 is that I was given a client and an item that they wanted to be used in the room. I had to write a paragraph explain the room and show 4 samples that would be used in the room. I recreated the client information using fireworks. Client Information

When I was in the 8th grade, my teacher assigned us to write numerous 500 word essays. Some of the time we would enter our essays into local contest. I choose two of what I think are my best essays for that year. The thems for the first essay was Standing up and speaking out. I had to choose a historical figure who I thought stood up for something they believed in. I choose to write about Martin Luther King Jr. The theme for the second paper was helping others and how you can make a difference.
