Bedford Public Schools is a high achieving school district located in Monroe County, Michigan. The school district comprises a total land area of about 39 square miles with a population over 30,000. Bedford Township is located between I-75 and US 23.

The city limits of Toledo, Ohio are contiguous with the southern boundary of the district. We are very proud of our students’ academic achievement and our community. That’s why we say:

NCA Accredited   BPS has four Elementary Schools, one Junior High School, and one High School. Our enrollment is about 5,000 students. All of our schools are accredited by the North Central Association (NCA) and must meet stringent standards to remain accredited.

Bedford Public Schools has THREE Michigan Blue Ribbon Exemplary Schools and has earned the Coalition for Community Schools National Award of Excellence!
